"Food As Art" Workshop Express Yourself Studios & Whole Foods Market (Paramus & West Orange)

Join Express Yourself Studios and Whole Foods Market's KIDZ CLUB for the "Food as Art" workshop. Be inspired by the wonderful colors and textures of the fruits and vegetables of the season; let them be your muse as you create a still-life painting on canvas with artist Simone Anthony-Brown of Express Yourself Studios.

Children will create a 5" x 7" acrylic painting on canvas board. Every child leaves with a finished frame worthy piece of artwork. Plus, Whole Food Market's Healthy Eating Specialists will be on hand to whip-up delicious fruit & veggie smoothies.

The workshops take place August 6 at the Whole Foods Market in Paramus located at 300 Bergen Town Center and August 16 at the Whole Foods Market in West Orange located at 235 Prospect Avenue.

Pizza & Pottery at Express Yourself Studios, Next on July 28...Join Us!

Join Express Yourself Studios located at 1912 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood, NJ every 4th Thursday of the month for Pizza & Pottery (6:00 pm – 8:00 pm) Children ages 5-12 will participate in a fun pottery project creating a functional piece of artwork. Hand building techniques such as slab, pinch, and sculpture will be covered. All supplies, pizza and beverages included. $20 per person. Reserve your space today.

Paul Cezanne Week 7/25-7/29 Join Us as We Explore the Father of Modern Art!

Join Express Yourself Studios located at 1912 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood for a week, join us as we explore the father of modern art - Paul Cezanne. The Summer Art program is open to children ages 5-12. Children will experiment with a variety of media in a fun and supportive environment. Participants will be encouraged to use their imagination freely as they learn about Master Artists. The Summer Workshop runs now – August 26.

Summer Saturday Art Camp at Express Yourself Studios...Join Us!

Join Express Yourself Studios’ for our Summer Saturday Art Workshop!

Enjoy the weekly Summer Art Camp experience on the weekend. Children (ages 5-12) will create art projects inspired by Master Artists such as: Alexander Calder, Pablo Picasso, Wassily Kandinsky, Georgia O'Keeffe, Paul Cezanne, Vincent Van Gogh, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol and Jean Michel Basquiat.

Children will learn about the Artists through discussions, examples, and art-making. Projects will include painting, drawing, mixed media collage, sculpture, printmaking and paper mache.

All materials included, 3-hours of studio time each day.

Workshop Fee: $245 for 7 sessions or $45 per child/ per day (sibling discounts available).
