Mardi Gras Art Party & Mask Making Workshop, Feb. 18 @ Express Yourself Studios

Express Yourself Studios; located at 1877 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood will host its annual Mardi Gras Art Party Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. Children ages 2-10 are invited create a Mardi Gras mask utilizing a variety of materials, decorative papers, paints, feathers, etc. and to join the Studio for art, treats, music & beads.

The workshop fee is $15, one hour of studio time, all materials and treats included. Join us any time between 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Valentine’s Day Workshops & Events at Express Yourself Studios

MAPLEWOOD, NJ January 27, 2012– Express Yourself Studios, A Space to Create located at 1877 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood has two great events slated for the Valentine's Day Holiday. All are welcome to celebrate the holiday and participate in the studio’s annual workshops that include the following:

VALENTINE’S DAY ARTS & CRAFTS
FEBRUARY 11 – 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Children ages 2-10 are invited to celebrate and create a mixed media Valentine’s Day inspired painting utilizing acrylic paints, pastels and paper. Join us any time between 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. The workshop fee is $15, one hour of studio time and all materials and Valentine’s Day treats included.

COUPLES’ COCKTAILS & CANVAS
FEBRUARY 14 - 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Bring your bottle of wine (or favorite beverage), your sweetie and explore your creative side and have a great start to the St. Valentine's Holiday! Participate in a guided art project; no experience necessary...the main objective is to have fun! Everyone leaves with a finished masterpiece!! All materials and light refreshments provided. $25 per person (adults only).

Pizza & Pottery Thursday, January 26 at Express Yourself Studios RSVP Now!

Join Express Yourself Studios located at 1877 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood, NJ every 4th Thursday of the month for Pizza & Pottery (6:00 pm – 8:00 pm) Children ages 5-12 will participate in a fun pottery project creating a functional piece of artwork. Hand building techniques such as slab, pinch, and sculpture will be covered. All supplies, pizza and beverages included. $20 per person. Reserve your space today.

Winter Break Art Workshop February 17 - 24 at Express Yourself Studios RSVP Now!

Express Yourself Studios; located at 1877 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood will host a Winter Break Art Workshop February 17-24, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm for children age 5-12. Participants will create paintings using a mix of mediums (acrylics, watercolor, and pastels) and other projects using a myriad of materials (clay & paper collages). We’ll be inspired by artists such as Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Paul Cezanne, Georgia O’Keeffe and many others. All materials are included, 3-hours of studio time. Workshop Fee: $150 for the week or $45 per child/per day.

"Family Fun Night of Art” at Express Yourself Studios January 14...Join Us!

"Family Fun Night of Art" every Saturday 4:00pm-6:00pm at Express Yourself Studios located at 1877 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood. Families join us for 2-hours of studio time, one (1) guided art project, pizza, beverages and all materials required to facilitate the workshop.

The workshop fee is $20 per person (4 or more participants the workshop fee is $15 per guest.) To join “Family Fun Night of Art” register 2-3 days in advance. Everyone leaves with a frame-worthy piece of artwork.

Painting-N-Pajamas Friday, January 6 at 6:00pm...Join Us!

Join Express Yourself Studios located at 1912 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood every 1st Friday of the month, 6:00pm-7:00pm for Painting-N-Pajamas. Children ages 2-5 are invited to wear their PJs and participate in a fun and creative art project and enjoy pizza & beverages. A different project each month (painting, pottery, collage & more).
