Express Yourself Studios' 2016 Summer Art Workshop June 20 - August 26, Register for a Week or a Day or Two, Reserve Your Camper's Space Now!

Express Yourself Studios located at 1877 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood has posted its 2016 Summer Art Workshop schedule. The Summer Art Workshop program is open to children ages 5-12. Participants will experiment with a variety of media in a fun and supportive environment. Attendees are encouraged to use their imagination freely as they learn about Master Artists. The Summer Workshop runs June 20 – August 26, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Workshop attendees will create 10-15 art projects per week. The projects will be inspired by a different Master Artist. The 2016 10-week schedule includes the following: Pop Art, African-American Artists, Women In the Arts, Cartooning, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Latin Artists, Sculpture, Asian Art, 20th Century Masters.

Children will learn about the Artists through discussions, examples, and art-making. Projects will include painting, drawing, mixed media collage and sculpture (relative to the artists). An exhibition and reception featuring students' artwork will be held at the conclusion of each week.

Express Yourself Studios is an art studio and art gallery dedicated to being an outlet for children and adults to express themselves creatively via classes in the arts. As well as a space where artists are welcome to display their work and create utilizing the studio’s space. Father's Day Art & Fun Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Express Yourself Studios, Create a Canvas Painting with Dad! RSVP Now!

Express Yourself Studios located at 1877 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood will host Father’s Day Art & Fun Saturday, June 18 for all to participate (best for families with children ages 5+).

Visit the Studio between 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (on the hour) and paint a Father’s Day painting on canvas with Dad or for Dad choose either “Dad," “Super Dad" or “I Love Dad" and enjoy cookies and lemonade (while supplies last).

The workshop fee is $25 per person. Bringing in a small group of friends, 5 or more? Register at the Group Rate $20 per person.
