2017 Summer Art Workshop at Express Yourself Studios, June 19 - August 25, Register Before March 31 for Camper Discounts, Register Now!

Express Yourself Studios located at 1877 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood has posted its 2017 Summer Art Workshop schedule. The Summer Art Workshop program is open to children ages 5-12. Participants will experiment with a variety of media in a fun and supportive environment. Attendees are encouraged to use their imagination freely as they learn about Master Artists. The Summer Workshop runs June 19 – August 25, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Workshop attendees will create 10-15 art projects per week. The projects will be inspired by a different Master Artist. The 2017 10-week schedule includes the following: Pop Art, African-American Artists, Women In the Arts, Cartooning, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Latin Artists, Sculpture, Asian Art, 20th Century Masters.

Children will learn about the Artists through discussions, examples, and art-making. Projects will include painting, drawing, mixed media collage and sculpture (relative to the artists). An exhibition and reception featuring students' artwork will be held at the conclusion of each week.

Spring Break Mini-Camp April 10 - 14 at Express Yourself Studios for Ages 4-10, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Register Now!

Express Yourself Studios located at 1877 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood will host a Spring Break Mini-Camp April 10 - 14, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Children ages 4-10 are welcome to join Express Yourself Studios for 3-hours of art and fun! Register for the week or a day or two.

Be inspired by various Master Artists such as: Frankenthaler, Basquiat, Van Gogh, Rauschenberg, Kahlo, and many others using a mix of mediums (acrylics, watercolor, and pastels) and other projects using a myriad of materials (clay sculptures & paper collages).

All materials included, 3-hours of studio time, $200 for the week April 10 - 14 (sibling weekly rate: $175) or $50 per child/per day or $45 per child/per day if registering 2 or more children or if registering for more than 1-day. Pack a light, nut-free snack and get creative!

Join Express Yourself Studios, located at 1877 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood every Sunday 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM for Wine Glass Painting. Bring your favorite beverage and explore your creative side and enjoy an afternoon of creativity.

No experience necessary...be inspired, the main objective is to have fun! Leave with a custom painted wine glass created by you (1 wine glass per person).

Wine Glass Painting is great for groups and organization, baby and bridal showers, or birthday day parties (ask about our private sessions), $30 per person (unless otherwise noted) supplies provided. Purchase additional glasses for $5 each.
