Materials Needed:​

1.  Acrylic Paints and Paint Brushes
2. ​Markers
3. Canvas, Canvas Board or Watercolor Paper (9 x 12 or larger)
4. Palette (A paper plate will do)
5. Pencils
6. Ruler 
7. Water Container (Something to rinse your brushes in)
8. 1" Foam Brush, art sponge (Or cut a clean household sponge in quarters)
9. Paper Towels

Winter Break Mini-Camp (Friday, February 18 and Monday, February 21) at Express Yourself Studios

Make the most of your winter break, join us for Winter Break Mini-Camp (Friday, February 18 and Monday, February 21). Camp meets 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Best for children ages 6 - 11.

Create paintings using a mix of mediums (acrylics, watercolor, and pastels) and other projects using a myriad of materials (clay, printmaking & paper collages).

Express Yourself Studios will host its 14th annual “Celebrate Dr. King: Explore the Dream Through Art” workshop in person and virtually Saturday, January 15, 2022

Express Yourself Studios will host its 14th annual “Celebrate Dr. King: Explore the Dream Through Art” workshop in person and virtually Saturday, January 15, 2022!  

The workshop will take place Saturday, January 15, 2022, Dr. King's actual birthday!  Join us in person between 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM and virtually 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM (see specific timeslots in registration).

Learn about Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement through the reading of the book “A PLACE TO LAND” by Barry Wittenstein and Illustrated by Jerry Pinkney .  

Then participate in an art project inspired by the book, exploring the themes of Peace, Equality, Friendship and Community.
