MAPLEWOOD, NJ October 12, 2009 – Express Yourself Studios, A Space to Create located at 1912 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood will host “Craft for the Cause” a craft show featuring Serigraphy and Silk-screen artist Elissa F. Merkl, Illustrator and Children's Book Author Vanessa Brantley-Newton, ShayBri Designs and other local crafters to celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to raise funds for breast cancer education.
“Craft for the Cause” will take place Saturday, October 24 from 2:00pm – 6:00pm. Monies raised via vendor participation will be donated to the American Cancer Society in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in memory of Mary Bradley, the late mother-in-law of Express Yourself Studios co-owner Simone Anthony-Brown.
